Last month, Apple released what seems to be the greatest achievement of handheld technology. On September 20th the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max were introduced to the public. The new upgrade took the media by storm with the triple camera features, super retina and a varied selection of sizes and colors.

The different models vary in display, design, size, resistance and price. To begin, the iPhone 11 is 6.1 inches (diagonal) of all-screen liquid crystal display (LCD) and tends a liquid retina high definition (HD) display. Meaning each phone screen contains polarized panels placed between the liquid crystal solution that enhances the visual usage of the phone. To compare, The iPhone 11 Pro offers 5.8 inches of length with all-screen organic light emitting diode (OLED) and super retina XDR display. Lastly, the iPhone Pro Max is 6.5 inches with all-screen OLED and super retina display. This compares to last years models that contain 5.5 inch retina HD display and widescreen LCD.

Components of each new iPhone 11 are styled with textured matte glass and stainless steel, whereas the previous models were made from aluminum and glass. The iPhone 11 has a new selection of purple, yellow, green, red, black and white. While the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max only have the colors gold, space gray, silver and midnight green. These colors help the user to customize and match their style or personality.

Through this release, Apple has made a bold statement by offering not only the iPhone 11 dual camera, but the Pro and Pro Max triple 12 megapixel (MP) ultra wide telephoto (a lens with a longer focal length) with special night mode feature. Night mode is a completely new feature that makes any photo or video automatically brighter without flash. Night mode amplifies the quality of dark photos to tend a more natural exposure.

With everyone investing in this new product, these phones are selling out by the minute. The photo technology of pixel resolution and tone display makes the phone incomparable to other brands. The phone also has new features such as all day battery charge and water resistance with up to two meters of depth, making the phones even more appealing.

Unsurprisingly, only good things are being said about the iPhone 11. Milton junior Kylie Ramaswami states, “I got the purple iPhone 11 because I loved the aesthetic it gave,” proving her interest in color appeal of the product. As Nora Megenity is more interested in the camera aspect, she adds, “I got a new phone because and I like how the new camera is wide-angled and precise.” This proves that Apple’s iPhone 11 has surprised everyone with the astonishing upgrade. With no negative connotation, the iPhone 11 is a great deal for everyone so far.
