Milton High School’s 2018 prom will take place on April 14 at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta. In a yearly event reserved specifically for high school juniors and seniors and their dates, Milton customs run strong. This year’s theme is “Touchdowns, Tuxedos and Traditions”.

We surveyed a group of upperclassmen going to the prom about various topics regarding the event. Here are some of the results:


65.2% of participants did not like the theme (Touchdowns, Tuxedos & Traditions):

27.7% of surveyed girls got their prom dress from a specialty store or boutique:

Only 43.5% are going to the prom with a date:

45.5%  of groups are taking a limousine or party bus to the dance:

91% are getting to the venue an hour late, at 8:

The fun doesn’t stop after the dance- 69.6% are going to a friend’s house after the prom:

Many students are going out to eat before the dance. Some popular restaurant destinations include Pastavino, Antobelli’s, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Alma Cocina, Little Alley and Crabapple Tavern.


With the way our stats are lining up, this prom looks like it is going to be a truly unforgettable night!
