With summer around the corner, many Milton students are looking for jobs to earn some extra cash. However, choices are limited if you don’t have a High School Diploma. Here are a few jobs available for teens, besides being a bagger at Publix.

Child Care:

Art Camp Paid Apprentice

Location: Roswell Area Park Visual Arts Center

Description: A fun, part-time job for those who love art and working with children. Apprentices will aid instructors setting up, cleaning up after the children, helping children with their projects, and escorting the children to and from the pool. Camp dates are to be determined.

Pay: $8.00 – $10.00/hour depending on experience

Schedule: Monday – Friday (2:00pm-5:00pm)

Requirements: Prior experience working with kids.

Wills Park Summer Camp Counselor/CIT

Location: Wills Park

Description: Do you want a full summer dedicated to working with children and participating in entertaining events? Working as a Wills Park Summer Camp counselor or counselor-in-training entails leading children in exciting activities, going on field trips, and connecting with the campers and other counselors. Camp starts June 4 and ends August 3.

Pay: For CITs, no pay. For counselors, $9/hr.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:30am-6pm)

Requirements: Must be fourteen years or older for CITs and sixteen years or older for Counselors

Life Time Fitness Kids Activities Team Member

Location: Life Time Fitness

Description: This is a job for those who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and helping kids. Team members will play an important role in providing a fun, entertaining, engaging, educational and safe environment for Life Time’s campers. Description: Sprayground Attendants are responsible for a variety of duties to prepare the Sprayground area for the demands of the patrons such as daily supervision and enforcing sprayground rules.

Pay: $7.25 – $8.50/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 10:00am – 7:00pm (shifts will vary; up to 40 hours per week)
